As
my mom is a health-food coach, I received a
lot of tips to healthy eating. While
I was younger, and it still works now, I have
my vitamins and milk-shakes. If I am that
healthy, it is thanks to her. She
is bit less involved in basketball than my dad
but I carefully listen to her when she says
something. She found Mark Fleisher, my
NBA agent. She was with me for my debut
in San Antonio, but has since moved back to
Paris.
My
dad helps me tremendously. After each
game, I talk to him on the phone. It was
the same while I was playing at the INSEP(French
Sports Institute). We analyze my performance
and try to pinpoints its positive aspects. When,
during my first year in Paris, I was not playing
as Laurent Sciarra was the starter, my dad was
always with me to cheer on me. He
is of great help and wisdom, but most important,
a good dad. Nowadays, he lives in Chicago.
Terrence
is 20 and Pierre 18. We always had great relationships.
While we were kids, we always spent time
together. We lived in Fecamp, in Normandy
and spent our time at the beach, eating out
in the countryside, playing with our St. Bernard
and spending evening of videogames' challenges.
We also often played basketball. Today,
they both live in Chicago. Terrence
is attending Northwestern University where he
is a student athlete, and Pierre is about to
graduate from HS. He will then play college
at Loyola University, the same school that our
dad attended. I hope that since both are
talented players they could one day play with
or against me in the NBA.
